I.C.E. Leadership Development Program

The Institute for Credentialing Excellence’s Leadership Development Program:

  • provides credentialing professionals with a robust leadership development and networking experience; and
  • prepares individuals to assume increasingly responsible roles within their credentialing organizations and professional societies.

About the Leadership Development Program 

Up to fifteen participants can join the leadership development program cohort. This is a 11-month program facilitated by experienced and dedicated credentialing professionals. The program will begin in January 2025 and conclude at the 2025 I.C.E. Exchange, November 17-20 in Phoenix, AZ. Participants should expect to commit 2-4 hours per month to the program, however additional time may be needed during certain weeks. You must be in attendance for the 2025 I.C.E. Exchange to participate.

  • Quality Assurance & Systems

  • Public Speaking
  • The Business of Certification
  • Credentialing Career Pathways & Development

Eligibility/Policies

To participate in the I.C.E. Leadership Development Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently employed as a credentialing professional at the mid-career level (e.g., Coordinator - Director Level) with typically 5-10 years of experience
  • I.C.E. member in good standing (I.C.E. Membership must be maintained throughout the program)
  • Note: Due to the popularity of this program, I.C.E. will only select one person per organization per cohort 

If accepted to the I.C.E. Leadership Development Program, you must meet the following criteria during your participation in the cohort:

  • Remain an employee of a credentialing body. If an accepted applicant changes employment and is determined to no longer be eligible, I.C.E. will not refund tuition or transfer the acceptance to another individual after the first session has been held
  • Attend a minimum of 6 virtual workshops with credentialing leaders
  • Be in attendance for the 2025 I.C.E. Exchange

Cost

The program registration fee is $1,750 and includes:

  • Strength Finders™ Tool, Book, and top five strengths report
  • 5 selected publications
  • The I.C.E. Certification Handbook, 3rd Edition
  • 9 virtual workshops with credentialing leaders
  • 2025 I.C.E. Exchange registration (Registration is nontransferable)
