Vendor, Sales, or Account Manager Career Pathway
Vendors, sales, or account managers may be new to certification. They may have a background in education or marketing and hold different academic degrees.

- Credentialing basics (if new to credentialing)
Technical development includes:
- Certification basics (at a minimum)
- Accreditation knowledge
- Business skills
- Financial skills
Their role and responsibilities may include the following:
- Engage in networking events or opportunities
- Serve as SME by writing industry articles
Their learning pathway should include certificates and certification in a related field or further academic credentials, such as psychometrics. Their learning pathway also includes continuous training, shadowing others in similar positions, and mentorship from internal or external professionals.

- Volunteer with credentialing industry-related groups
