Designed for Staff and Volunteers of Education and Training Programs
Use this four-module e-Learning course to provide your staff and volunteers basic knowledge and good practices for developing and administering an assessment-based certificate program.
If you offer an education or training program that includes an end-of-course assessment, you offer an assessment-based certificate (ABC) program . Certificate and certification programs are designed to meet very different needs. Assessment-based certificate programs can be used as a way to build capacity in a profession or to fill an ongoing skills gap. They can also be used as an adjunct to certification in order to provide competency-based continuing education or to identify advanced or specialty areas of practice.

Easy, Online Format
The modules are developed in Articulate Studio ’13 using various interactions to organize content and reinforce learning. The content is presented in well-defined "chunks" of relevant information and is sequenced logically from determining the need for assessment-based certificates through legal issues (though some of these activities may occur in parallel or prior to one another in practice).
Written by credentialing industry experts, each module features a presentation, accompanying slides, and learning checkpoints that allow participants to measure how quickly they're grasping the concepts.
