Avoiding Common Mistakes that Jeopardize NCCA Accreditation

Thursday, December 5 from 12 pm - 1 pm ET

Description

Earning NCCA accreditation is a significant milestone for a certification program. After celebrating this achievement, organizations should quickly switch their focus to maintaining compliance with the NCCA Standards throughout the five-year accreditation period. Re-accreditation is especially important to plan for as best practices and the interpretation of accreditation requirements evolve over time. Organizations with accredited programs can inadvertently make decisions and changes that jeopardize ongoing compliance and complicate the re-accreditation process.

In this one-hour webinar, industry experts will delve into the most common challenges and mistakes organizations make that lead to questions or concerns from an accreditation standpoint, and how to avoid them. Representatives from two NCCA accredited programs will share their experiences in operationalizing accreditation and considering standards and requirements when making programmatic changes and strategic decisions. The presenters will address program areas including governance, policy and operations, exam development, and exam administration. The session is designed for certification professionals of all levels and will include time for Q&A.

Attendees will gain practical insights into:

  • Understanding and addressing evolving accreditation standards
  • Avoiding common pitfalls in accreditation maintenance
  • Managing documentation effectively
  • Developing processes for continuous compliance and improvement
  • Streamlining the re-accreditation process
