NCCA Accreditation Fees

There are two fees associated with accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA); application fees and annual accreditation fees. Please see the fee schedules below.

2025 NCCA Application Fees*

Application fees must be paid when submitting initial or re-accreditation applications. Application fees are on a per program basis.

I.C.E. Member Initial or Re-accreditation Application

ICE Member Subsequent Linked Application Fee
(initial or re-accreditation application)

This fee applies to each additional program that is linked to the first application for a member organization. Linked applications must be submitted for the same deadline.

$1,790/application up to a max fee of 10 applications
Non-Member Initial Application  $3,670
Non-Member Subsequent Linked Application Fee
(initial or re-accreditation application)

This fee applies to each additional program that is linked to the first application for a non-member organization. Linked applications must be submitted for the same deadline.

$2,390/application up to a max fee of 10 applications

*Application fees are collected online with a credit card upon submission of the application and are non-refundable. Therefore, organizations are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review their completed applications prior to submission to ensure that their applications provide up-to-date, accurate information and are completed according to the Standards and guidelines provided in the application form.

Payment may also be made via check, payable to ICE (not NCCA).  Please note that payment is due before your application can be submitted. If you intend to send a check payment, the check should be received prior to the application deadline so that you may submit your application on time.

Annual Fees for Organizations with NCCA Accredited Programs

Once a program is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), all organizations with one or more accredited programs must pay a yearly accreditation fee to remain in good standing. This fee is originally charged upon accreditation and may be pro-rated depending on the time of year the program earns official accreditation. Organizations are then invoiced annually throughout their 5-year accreditation.

Membership Offer

Organizations with NCCA accredited programs are not required to be members of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.). However, there is a discounted rate for organizations who choose to pay I.C.E. membership dues along with their annual accreditation fees. Organizations will automatically be invoiced at this discounted rate:

Effective for 2025
Organization with up to two accredited programs $6,360/year
Each additional accredited program $1,646/year
Maximum accreditation fee $18,865/year

**Fees are non-refundable.

Organizations who choose not to join I.C.E. as a member may pay the full annual accreditation fee. If you would like to exercise this option, please contact I.C.E. staff at info@credentialingexcellence.org for an updated invoice.
